Make Ready

A Make Ready operative is part of a team who provide cleaning services, restocking of consumables, and checking equipment on our Ambulance fleet for both front line and PTS. 
Typical duties of the role include:
  • High standard of cleaning on every vehicle
  • Replacing/Replenishing stock and consumables
  • Checking and Testing equipment is operational
  • Completing necessary paperwork
  • Moving vehicles around the station
Qualifications and training required:
  • Previous experience desirable but not necessary, full training given.

Minimum Requirements for the role:

  • Hold a current DBS – or required to undertake a DBS check
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Hold a full current driving licence for not less than 1 year

Uniform will be provided
The Make Ready Role covers seven days a week 365 days a year
